Anna Yepremyan

Anna Yepremyan is an experimental floral artist with a background in theater and film set design. She studied in Rome, Italy, where she obtained knowledge in high fashion, costume and 3D design, which she credits for her exuberance for art.  During this time Anna’s work was exhibited in the Fiber Art Exhibition in Venice, Italy, and an icon painted by her was part of an official gift to the Pope in Vatican, Rome during the year 2,000 Jubilee.

Initially starting with Ikebana, she subsequently gravitated towards English Garden, followed by minimal and high tech design. Now with a more whimsical style, she uses 3D props and a surrealist touch to accentuate her work. She has become well known for her unique and imaginative themed event creations. Anna has worked on Pasadena Showcase House of Design for several years, and her work has been part of exhibits around the world, from Los Angeles, to Seoul, to Yerevan. Anna has also worked on number of films, music videos and theater, as a set and production designer.  Amongst her numerous awards and recognitions, is LA Weekly’s Art Director of the Year Award for “The Master and Margarita”. Anna’s client list reads like Hollywood’s “who’s who,” including Nicolas Cage, George Clooney, Madonna, Elizabeth Taylor, Sofia Coppola, as well as large multinational corporations such as Disney Imagineering, Toshiba, and various hotels, resorts, banks, and private estates.  Anna currently runs Elza Deco,  a boutique floral and interior design shop specializing unique and customized artistic creation, from corporate and entertainment events and clients, to weddings, bridal showers and birthday parties.  You can see samples of her recent work on Facebook “Elza Deco Floral Artistry” and Instagram elzadecofloralartistry.
